At smaller companies, publication managers may be faced with generating a new publication function to integrate publication processes and guidelines into the existing company structure. They may have limited budgets and/or resources and may need to perform multiple functions beyond publication management. The publication manager may also be required to establish new processes and policies with cross-functional agreement and demonstrate the internal value of ethical publication practices and medical writing support.
This workshop will consist of didactic and interactive sessions discussing the challenges of publication management at smaller pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies.
