Event Date: Sep 18, 2018
Real-world evidence (RWE) plays an increasingly important role in filling the knowledge gap between clinical trials and clinical practice in the oncology practice setting. As more treatment options become available to physicians, the ability to generate and compare new forms of evidence alongside traditional Randomized Control Trials (RCTs) evidence support improved insight for safe and effective use of treatment options for cancer patients.
This webinar will examine applications for real world evidence in the practice setting:
- Analysis of patient outcomes from the use of innovations in real world setting to advance insight on safety and efficacy;
- Real world outcomes analysis from patients whose diversity reflects real world practice to augment RTC data;
- Analysis of real world data to inform the research hypothesis and design and design of RCTs; and
- Ways RWE can support improvement of practice patterns.
