This two-hour course will enable participants to explore the main concepts relating to scoping, rapid and overview of reviews. The course will focus on their definition, steps of the review process, and methods used. We will work with examples from the literature and/or participants’ questions to make the course applicable and practical.
After taking this course, you should have an understanding of scoping, rapid reviews and overview of reviews, specifically:
- What they are, i.e. to recognise their main features and methods
- When to use them, i.e. to describe challenges and opportunities in producing them
- How to use them, i.e. to consider their use for enabling evidence-based policy and healthcare decisions.
