In this webinar, two internationally acclaimed transformation leaders in pediatric care will share their insights about the key needs in pediatric care and describe their own experiences in leading their organizations into higher-value care.

Dr. Jan Hazelzet was, for several decades, a pediatric intensivist in the Netherlands. He now leads an array of innovation and transformation initiatives at Erasmus University Medical Center. Among his myriad experiences are a series of innovations in outcome measurement and connecting outcomes to care redesign.

Dr. Carlos Mery is a pediatric congenital heart surgeon at the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, which he played a leading role in establishing. Dr. Mery manages a staggering array of research programs and works to drive meaningful outcome measurement in every dimension of the center’s care.

Drs. Hazelzet and Mery will join Scott Wallace, managing director at the Value Institute for Health and Care, to talk about the state of value transformation in pediatric care, what needs to happen next, and how lessons from pediatric care can influence and drive improvement across health care services.
