Last month STAT launched a special report that was a year and a half in the making. Produced with support from The Commonwealth Fund, it explores the enormous potential, and the dangers, of artificial intelligence in health care.

On May 27, join report co-authors Erin Brodwin, a California-based STAT health tech correspondent, and Casey Ross, STAT’s national technology correspondent, for a special virtual event about the report’s findings. They’ll sit down with researchers working at the intersection of health and AI to examine the limitations of clinical decision support tools, and how to incorporate these tools into practice with an eye for equity. They’ll also discuss some of the real-time applications of AI in the time of Covid-19.
