As a trainer in scientific communications, John Dixon has considerable experience in delivering face-to-face workshops to medical writers and doctoral students in universities, research institutes, medical communications agencies and for the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA). John also developed the unique FirstMedCommsJob workshops for aspiring medical writers. Recently, he has adapted his workshops for virtual delivery.

John will share his experiences and practical tips. How different is virtual from face-to-face delivery? Can participants still interact effectively? Do you need a co-host to help you out? How long can participants sit in front of a screen without a break? Does it work?

Questions from the audience will be welcomed.

It should be of interest to anyone working in and around MedComms and, in particular, the managers and others who are responsible for training within agencies.

The webinar is free of charge and, all being well, a recording will be posted afterwards at NetworkPharma.tv. Note we are allowing 60 minutes for the webinar and we always aim to finish promptly on time.
