Multiple sclerosis (MS) has historically been considered a disease that primarily affects Caucasians; however, people from all races and ethnicities can be affected. As part of our important work with the MS community, Biogen is committed to better supporting underserved populations living with MS by conducting the Health Equity Initiative, which seeks to improve medical outcomes among all underserved populations globally. Biogen is looking to improve MS outcomes among racial and ethnic minority populations in the US, reduce clinical disparities via data generation, and increase external resources while partnering with patient advocacy groups to better reach underserved communities.

During this webinar, you will learn more about considerations for disease management and potential outcomes in underserved populations with MS. As part of this program, we will highlight some of the treatment disparities and access challenges that face these populations, as well as discuss Biogen’s Health Equity Initiative.
