Tufts Medical Center’s James Chambers recently offered another look inside his presentation at the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy’s (AMCP) March meeting in California.
Chambers’ presentation in March highlighted patient input in specialty drug coverage decision making, as well as the pros and cons of including that input.
“Considering input from patients is invaluable in capturing ‘a day in the life’ of individuals suffering from a particular disease,” he said. “This information is difficult, if not impossible, to capture from traditional clinical studies and provides insight into what really matters to patients.”
