The high prices of specialty drugs has a lot of people questioning whether their cost is worth the clinical benefits they provide. A recent study in Health Affairs, looked at all specialty and traditional drugs approved by the FDA from 1999 to 2011, their additional health gains (QALYs), and increased costs incurred.
