Pharma companies are preparing for changes under the Biden administration, including in-depth discussions about drug pricing—for both new drugs and older products like insulin. Increasing prices without good reason can lead to serious issues for consumers.
According to CEO Ken Frazier of Merck & Co. Inc, “We have to work with the next administration,” adding that “We have to work with the House and the Senate to try to come forward with approaches that will help patients be able to afford medicines, but also in a way that allows us to continue to innovate to bring things forward.” Learn more here.
