A recent white paper from the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER) and the Office of Health Economics looks at how real-world evidence is currently being used in the U.S. health care system.
The U.S. health system is constantly improving its ability to generate huge data sets, the paper states, but key barrier persist.
“Exciting opportunities for the use of RWE exist, yet important reservations remain,” the paper states. “Solutions are within reach if effective partnerships between stakeholders can be nurtured.”
