Webinar to Highlight Challenges of Value Assessment Amid Pandemic

An upcoming webinar sponsored by the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) and the Innovation and Value Initiative will present ISPOR’s definition of “patient engagement in research.”
The webinar, which will be moderated by Shelby Reed, is set to begin 1 p.m. EST July 29.
Featured speakers include Finn Børlum Kristensen, Darius Lakdawalla, Gary Puckrein and Michelle McMurry-Heath.
“The definition was derived from a multi-step process, including a systematic review and qualitative analysis of existing definitions, and a multi-stakeholder review,” a description of the webinar states. “The implications of the published definition will be shared from key stakeholder perspectives including patients, researchers, and industry.”
