Recently-unsealed testimony by Jack Stoddard, COO of the Amazon-Berkshire-J.P. Morgan health care venture, has shed some light on the tight-lipped project, according to a Managed Care magazine report.
The documents were released as part of a lawsuit filed by STAT and the Wall Street Journal which sought to make public the testimony that was given in a lawsuit filed by OptumRx. Optum’s lawsuit aims to block the PBM’s former vice president of corporate strategy David Smith from sharing data he received before joining the health venture, dubbed ABC, per the report.
STAT reported “Stoddard’s answers to questions the judge asked provide the most succinct, coherent, and comprehensive overview of what the company believes it will do.”
