Understanding Japan’s 22 Robust RWD Databases

Japan boasts 22 databases that include patient data. Gaining access to the real world data (RWD) can be tricky and requires an understanding of which databases allow access to only clinical or academic researchers, among other barriers. Navigating these intricacies offers useful RWD; the NDB database holds data for nearly the entire population of Japan.
