UDG Healthcare, a Dublin-based health care provider, has reportedly acquired two U.S. firms for some $82.4 million, the Irish Times reports.
According to the report, UDG has agreed to buy Create NYC, a creative communications agency, for about $58 million and SmartAnalyst, a consulting and analytics business, for about $24 million.
“Both transactions meet all of UDG’s acquisition criteria — they are a good strategic and cultural fit; meet our target financial hurdle rates; and involves an expansion of our current capabilities,” UDG CEO Brendan McAtamney said.
Founded in 2009, Create NYC brings to the table high-impact marketing strategies with a 43-person crew. SmartAnalyst, founded in 2001, currently employs 135 employees providing consulting services to both pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
