“The Power of Patient Advocacy” – Value & Outcomes Spotlight Seeks Submissions

ISPOR’s journal Value & Outcomes Spotlight welcomes submissions for its January/February 2022 issue, which is themed, “The Power of Patient Advocacy”. The journal is requesting submissions that explore how HEOR methodologies and health policies affect patients’ healthcare decisions to demonstrate the importance of this research to key stakeholders using practical examples. A particular focus is paid to the impact of patient-centered approaches. Submissions should be brief (~1500 words) and aimed to convey HEOR concepts to interested lay audiences.

According to ISPOR, “As such, the Editors are most interested in content related to health economics and outcomes research that is both timely and relevant to the broad community of healthcare researchers, payers, policy makers, and patient representative organizations.”
