Study: Value Assessments Should Factor Full Range of Costs, Benefits

A recent study published in JMCP suggests value assessments should capture the full range of costs and benefits associated with an intervention.

“The exclusion of productivity costs can alter, often underestimating, the assessment of value,” the authors write. “This may affect coverage decisions—inclusion or exclusion from the insurance benefit—based on these assessments.”
