Study: MCDA Framework Can ‘Provide Meaningful Valuations” of New Technologies

A Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) value framework has the potential to “provide meaningful valuations of novel health technologies,” the authors of a recent study suggest.

“The MCDA methodology adopted enabled participants in the study countries to reflect on certain value dimensions and incorporate these more explicitly in the deliberation process, supporting its use as a transparent value communication tool,” the authors write.
