Study: Cancer Drug Costs Double at Hospitals

A new study by the Employee Benefit Research Institute Center for Research on Health Benefits Innovation suggests cancer medicines have twice the cost at outpatient facilities than in physician offices.
According to a PhRMA report, the study found employers and payers could have posted significant savings per cancer patient if they had paid physician office prices for even just one year.
