States Take Action Over Increasing Drug Prices

Several politicians in Washington and some states have sought to address the rising prices of prescription drugs prices. The group has focused mostly on insulin, whose price has doubled from 2012 to 2017. Over 7 million Americans depend on insulin to manage diabetes. In the wake of stalled drug price legislation during the covid-19 emergency, seven states have capped payments for insulin to less than $100 per month. Read the full story here.
