Share Your Story About High Drug Prices

March 8, 2022

At his State of the Union Address last week, President Biden shared the story of a family struggling to pay for the life-saving insulin they depend on. Patients for Affordable Drugs, an independent national patient organization dedicated to lowering drug prices, wants to hear your story. In doing so, they hope to spark policy changes that would help patients avoid difficult choices like forgoing medication to keep the lights on.

According to Lauren Stanford, “If there is anything I have learned in this work, it is that the one thing that brings everyone together is the stories of real, everyday Americans. Patient stories are what have driven all of the work we have done and will be the reason we get real drug pricing reform across the finish line.”
