Drugmaker Sanofi has revealed a new subscription-like model for its insulin treatment, according to a FiercePharma report, and is charging $99/month to receive the drug.
According to the report, Sanofi through its program is offering patients 10 boxes of insulin pens and 10 mL vials each month.
The savings program, however, will not extend to patients covered by Medicare or Medicaid. Sanofi said it would support regulations that open the door for those patients to receive those savings.
