Whistleblowers claimed Questcor bribed physicians to bolster sales after implementing a roughly 97,000 percent price hike on its drug used to treat infant seizure disorder, the Daily Beast reports.
The allegation was contained in unsealed court documents obtained by CNN.
According to the report, the price of the drug, H.P. Acthar Gel, rose from $40 per vial in 2000 to roughly $39,000 today.
