Report: Pharma Companies Want Lower Drug Prices, but Don’t Want to Lower Their Own

While pharma executives were making their proposals for lower drug prices during the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference, none were willing to cut their own prices, CNBC reports.

According to the report, executives brought with them a host of proposals, including changes to Medicare and passing off more savings from rebates onto consumers.

Bristol-Myers Squibb CEO Giovanni Caforio and Roche CEO Bill Anderson also slammed hospitals for marking up prices by significant margins.
