Report: Manufacturing Costs for Coronavirus Treatments Could Range on the Low End

Treatments for COVID-19, including hydroxychloroquine and remdesivir, could see very low manufacturing costs, according to a Bloomberg report.

According to the report which cites a recently-published study, costs could range between $1-$29 per course of treatment.

“At these low prices, anyone needing treatment for coronavirus, in any country, should be able to access the treatment they need,” Andrew Hill, co-author of the study, told Bloomberg in an email.
