According to a KPMG report, a significant digital trust gap exists within some organizations.
Evidence Soup’s Tracy Altman in a blog post says her experience with the CEO of a “smallish healthcare firm” echoes the report.
“He had not embraced sophisticated analytics or machine-made decision making,, with no comfort level for ‘what information he could believe,'” Altman writes. “He did, however, trust the CFO”s recommendations.”
The KPMG report found some 35 percent of IT decision-makers possess a firm level of trust in their own organizations’ analytics.
