Recent ISPOR Study Highlights the Use of RWE in Decision-Making

In a recent study published in Value in Health, researchers investigated how real world evidence (RWE) impacted decision-making by the European Medicines Agency. RWE was especially useful in assessing adverse events and tracking patient outcomes.

The authors remark, “Ensuring transparency of RWE evidence collection, study design and conduct, and of decision making based on this evidence will facilitate further development of the uses and value of RWE.” Read more here.
