An upcoming program offered by PRIME Education and the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) aims to facilitate discussions between payers and providers on IBD treatment decision-making.
The program, titled “Payer and Provider Workshops: Advancing Collaborative Approaches in IBD Treatment Decision-Making,” is slated to take place in six separate cities, with the first event set for Jan. 31 in Atlanta, Georgia.
“Led by an IBD specialist and a managed care expert, each program will focus on pragmatic approaches for streamlining payer-provided communication and leveraging available resources to optimize outcomes in IBD,” a description for the program states.
Other dates and locations are:
- Feb. 20, Cincinnati, Ohio;
- Feb. 21, St. Louis, Missouri;
- Feb. 25, Portland, Oregon;
- Feb. 26, Salt Lake City, Utah;
- March 12, Louisville, Kentucky.
