Philip Morris Acquires Several Companies, Details Beyond Nicotine Project in Brand Overhaul

Philip Morris International Inc. recently acquired OtiTopic, Vectura, and Fertin Pharma A/S. The acquired companies offer pharmaceutical products for heart attacks and asthma, among other drugs.  Philip Morris also announced its new Beyond Nicotine program, intended to propel the company into the therapeutic market, away from its tobacco and smoking history.
