A joint venture including Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon is looking at the greater picture, not just focusing on lower drug costs.
The CEOs announced their new health care partnership, which looks to deliver high-quality health care while also lowering costs, at the end of January.
“I love the idea of tackling what I regard as the major problem of our economy,” Buffett said in an interview with CNBC.
According to a Specialty Pharmacy Times report, the partnership will first work to provide tech solutions with would offer employees top-of-the-line care without profit-related red tape.
