Nominations Requested: Recognizing Excellence and Leadership in HEOR at ISPOR 2022

Nominations are now open for Scientific Achievement and Leadership Awards at ISPOR 2022. Each year, ISPOR honors several individuals for their contributions to the field of health economics and outcomes research, ranging from lifetime achievements to early career promise. Six awards are currently open for nominations. Self nominations are encouraged for some of the awards, but all nominators must be ISPOR members.

According to  Dr Barend (Ben) A. van Hout, 2020 ISPOR Avedis Donabedian Outcomes Research Lifetime Achievement Awardee, “ISPOR celebrates the joy and the results of working with clinicians, policy makers, mathematicians, statisticians, health care researchers, even ethicists. I hope it inspires others the benefits of starting with a blank sheet of paper, to try to understand the underlying problems, to acknowledge the complexities and to only agree to a simple solution if it leads to the same conclusion as a complex analysis.”
