Mount Sinai announced the launch of a new precision wellness app called N1, which was developed at its Icahn School of Medicine.
The iPhone app, according to a press release, allows users to answer a host of wellness-related questions in a “statistically rigorous way.”
“We’ve taken the tools that power clinical research and for the first time made them available to the public,” Noah Zimmerman, founding Director of the Health Data and Design Innovation Center at the Institute for Next Generation Healthcare, said in a statement. “Individuals can now use some of the statistical and methodological tools that scientists use.”
