Moderna CFO Steps Down After First Day as Investigation is Announced

Jorge Gomez, Chief Financial Officer at Moderna, has resigned one day after taking the position. Gomez resignation comes after his former employer Dentsply Sirona Inc announced an internal investigation into financial reporting. The company probe will center on the use of incentives for deals with distributors and related accounting discrepancies.”

According to Reuters, “Gomez was not immediately available for comment when contacted on LinkedIn, while Moderna did not have additional comments beyond the press release and the filing.”
