Medidata says its recent acquisition of SHYFT Analytics brings together a top clinical development platform and leading commercial and real-world data analytics platform.
The acquisition was announced Tuesday.
According to a press release on Business Wire, the combined platform will provide pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device companies an “unprecedented ability to manage and optimize value across the clinical and commercial continuum.”
“Together, Medidata and SHYFT are powering customers’ digital transformation with artificial intelligence and real-world analytics to reduce risk, optimize revenue and ultimately help patients,” Medidata Chairman and CSO Tarek Sherif says in the release.
Sherif says the resulting platform will facilitate life science companies’ product development and market entry.
