McKesson and Vanderbilt Health Rx Solutions Form Partnership to Offer Specialty Pharmacy Consulting Service

McKesson Corporation reported a partnership with VHRxS (Vanderbilt Health Rx Solutions). VHRxS it a national company owned by Vanderbilt University Medical Center with experience in specialty pharmacy strategy, management, and consulting services. Now, these services will be offered to McKesson’s clients, which include a large number of healthcare systems and hospitals. Specialty pharmacies run by health system are the most rapidly growing segment of the market and constitute 35% of the Specialty Pharmacy Database offered by Access Market Intelligence.
