Literary reviews play a key role in scientific investigations, and sifting through the vast trove of available data is an undoubtedly an overwhelming task.
Two companies, LifeArc and SciBite, have reportedly partnered to develop machine learning solutions in a bid to streamline research efforts in the ocean of data, according to a Laboratory News report.
“We knew this process was inefficient and we were keen to find an alternative way to triage through publications and data in order to free up our analyst’s time and allow them to focus on the most important and relevant findings,” LifeArc’s Ben Cryar told Laboratory News.
The partnership looks to:
- Efficiently create annotated data garnered from unstructured sources of scientific information; and
- Search and analyze data that could facilitate scientific discoveries.
