Joint Project Establishes RWD Link

June 19, 2020

ONC reported that the Coordinated Registry Network for Women’s Health Technologies, a joint project involving ONC, the FDA and NIH, successfully established a real-world data-sharing framework, HealthITAnalytics reports.

The initiative was launched in 2017, according to the report, and looked to create a coordinated registry network (CRN) focused on women’s health.

“Overall, the Coordinated Registry Network for Women’s Health Technologies project illustrates the critical nature of partnerships in the generation of real-world evidence and the search for answers to complex and novel research questions that reflect the actual patient experience,” Stephanie Garcia, Jawanna Henry, Danica Marinac-Dabic and Teresa Zayas Cabán write in a blog post.
