ISPOR’s HEOR Competencies Framework™ for HEOR Professionals

ISPOR presents a new tool to help employers and educators train health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) professionals. Their HEOR Competencies Framework™ for HEOR Professionals covers 13 topic domains and over 40 different competencies needed for the field. In addition, the framework outlines common competency gaps and how to address them with training to cultivate and retain talent.

According to Zeba M. Khan, RPh, PhD, “By having strategies in place to attract the best and brightest candidates, identify and develop internal talent, and develop a clear succession plan for key positions, these companies will not only excel but will be winners in the race for HEOR talent.”
