ISPOR to Host Webinar on Drug, Device Utilization Amid Pandemic

The International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research is set to host a July 28 webinar highlighting the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on drug and medical device utilization.

“Assessing the Impacts of a Pandemic on Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Utilization” is set to being 11 a.m. EST July 28, and will feature insights from IBM Watson Health’s Brian Griffin, Liisa Palmer and Mason Russell.

“From delayed elective surgeries to missed preventive care, the consequences of the current pandemic span well beyond the impacts of care directly related to COVID-19,” a description states. “The far-reaching impacts of a pandemic on the healthcare industry have tremendous implications for pharmaceutical and medical device utilization.”
