ISPOR Hosts Virtual Middle East and Africa 2021 HTA Roundtable

The International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes (ISPOR) hosts regular meetings to discuss the adoption of health technology assessments (HTAs). These HTA Roundtables promote lively interdisciplinary discussions regarding scientific methods, challenges faced by HTAs, and barriers that hinder access to healthcare. A recent October meeting was held virtually to connect healthcare stakeholders across the Middle East and Africa.

“Nearly 25 attendees from HTA bodies across 14 different countries met virtually on October 12 to discuss and update the status of HTA implementation in their respective countries. Additionally, participants provided their perspectives on managed entry agreements as a potential mechanism to improve patient access.” Read more here.
