The ISPOR Awards Council is taking nominations for its annual awards. It has also announced a new award, the LMIC (Low- and Middle-Income Countries) Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Excellence Award. This award recognizes high-achieving individuals in the HEOR field, especially academic researchers, decision makers, economists, and industry professionals.
“Evidence of research excellence will be assessed by evaluating the nominee’s body of work in the fields of health economics and outcomes research. Applications should provide a summary of the significant research contributions of the nominee in the methods or applications of health economics or outcomes research in LMICs. If applicable, the applications should also include specific examples of the impact of the nominee’s work on healthcare decision making or health outcomes in LMICs.” Learn more here.
