ISPOR 2022: New Analytical Approaches to 21st Century Challenges

As the world becomes increasingly smaller, standard economic models are straining to predict or explain how global systems. In a Signal Series session at ISPOR 2022 on Monday, May 16th, panelists will discuss the limitations of current models and new approaches to model dynamic systems that guide the economy, healthcare, epidemics, and more.

According to ISPOR, “Building on the expertise and capacity of an inter-disciplinary panel of neuroscientists, engineers and economists, this ISPOR Signal event will discuss innovative approaches for understanding the complexity of people, human-made systems and our economies and societies and how to ensure their adaptability, recovery and resilience. This involves applying insights and methods from behavioural neuroscience, contagion dynamics, network science, econophysics, and mathematics to policy questions spanning public health, economics, inequality, conflict, and other volatile dynamics.”
