The International Society for Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP) and the Pharma Collaboration for Transparent Medical Information (phactMI) recently announced a new partnership aimed at bolstering the value of scientific communications through a new collaborative effort.
According to a press release, the new partnership looks to support communications through the collaboration of medical publications and medical information professionals.
The partnership will officially launch during an educational meeting April 17 following ISMPP’s annual meeting, which is set for April 15-17 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland.
“This new partnership between ISMPP and phactMI will broaden our organizations’ abilities to identify synergies in the educational needs of scientific communication and medical information professionals, and to expand our options in achieving valued educational programs,” ISMPP President and CEO Al Weigel said in a statement.
