IQVIA Study Predicts Prescription Drug Spending Will Hit $400 Billion in 2025

IQVIA expects spending on prescription drugs to reach $400 billion in 2025, with new drug launches accounting for approximately $133 billion of the total costs. IQVIA’s recent report highlights the impact of COVID-19, the growing use of biosimilars, and the costs associated with expensive chronic diseases.
