Introduction to Medical Affairs Course Available from MAPS

In a recently released course by the Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS), healthcare providers (HCPs) will learn what Medical Affairs means and the role it currently plays in the modern healthcare industry. It will give HCPs a better understanding of the field and how it has improved patient care and outcomes while allowing for increased transparency.

According to MAPS, “The intention of this module is to define the critical role that Medical Affairs plays as an essential component of the healthcare industry by interpreting and contextualizing data, generating Real-World Evidence (RWE), engaging in peer to peer scientific dialogue that informs the company of the key practice and patient insights, and educates HCPs and healthcare decision makers on clinical and scientific data.”
