Interview with Ashok Roy, Chief Medical Officer of Caravan Medical, on Tuning in to the C-Suite Podcast

On Managed Healthcare Executive’s podcast, Tuning in to the C-Suite, Senior Editor Peter Wehrwein sits down to talk with Ashok Roy of Caravan Health. During their chat, the two discuss Roy’s work at Caravan as Chief Medical Officer, and the role that ACOs play in managing population health and value-based care.

According to Roy, “In a nutshell, population health is making sure we can manage an entire group of individuals, almost like whether they’d like it or not, right. We are responsible for the healthcare of these individuals. Now, in value-based care, they kind of go hand-in-hand, because if you do that well, then not only do you manage these patients well, they have better outcomes and better quality. People who do that well should be rewarded.”
