In spite of focused clinical, research, and policy efforts, great disparities in healthcare and outcomes persist. According to researchers, the key to solving many of these problems lies in making large clinical datasets more useful and informative for health disparities research. To this end the Health Disparities Collaborative Research Group was commissioned by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute to improve data science and quality around health disparities.
