According to former President Trump and current President Biden, Americans should be able to buy prescription drugs from other countries. Despite Biden’s assurances, skepticism remains high. Florida attempted to implement a prescription drug importation program, but faced serious issues. A $30 million contract failed to attract any bidders.
According to Biden’s healthcare plan, “Biden will allow consumers to import prescription drugs from other countries, as long as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has certified that those drugs are safe.” Learn more here.
