Surescripts’ new real-time drug price transparency solution, for example, is one tool that enables prescribers to see how much a drug would cost a patient as they write the prescription.
“That is pretty cool and could save a whole lot of rigamarole and time for both the prescriber and the patient who doesn’t now have to go the whole way over to the pharmacy to figure out the drug price is unaffordable,” a description of the podcast states.
