ICON’s Row, Capobianco and Adamski Talk Increasing Participation in Real-World Studies

In a recent interview with PMLiVE, ICON plc’s Bill Row, Bruce Capobianco and Maggie Adamski discussed ways to increase patient participation in real-world studies.

During the interview, they said it’s important to incorporate patient feedback in the earliest stages of development.

“Fortunately, companies are now routinely bringing patients into the conversation to understand how their disease affects them, day-to-day,” they said. “It must go beyond understanding side effects and modes of action to include their ‘lived experience’ with the disease.”
